What I consider to be the best test prep guide for the AP Computer Science A exam is the Barron's AP Computer Science A (currently, in 2020, in its 9th edition).
You will get both an excellent review of the subset of the Java language you will be tested on in the AP Computer Science A exam. But also (in the 9th edition) 6 practice tests. Which has been described as being harder than the actual exam.
While the subset of the Java language you're expected to demonstrate competency on has not changed from year to year, the actual exam itself does change from year to year.
You can definitely save a few bucks by buying a cheaper, older edition of the Barron's AP Computer Science A. Or you may be lucky enough to be gifted an older edition from a student who took it the previous year. Or you can borrow an older copy from the public library.
However, I would highly caution you to be aware of what has changed in the new test by looking at someone's copy of the current test guide for the year you're taking the AP exam. Which, for this year 2020, is the Barron's AP Computer Science A 9th Edition.
