Date: March 12th, 2020
A. Today is Thursday, March 12th, 2020. And we are now 56 days away from exam day (May 8th, 2020) for the AP Computer Science A test.
If you need a real-time countdown to exam day, use the URL below.
Does the AP Computer Science A exam expect you to know the following primitive (data) types: char, byte, short, long, float?
While The College Board says: "[char, byte, short, long, float will] Not [be] tested in the AP CS A Exam". The College Board also adds: "but [some knowledge of char, byte, short, long, float is] potentially relevant/useful".
The College Board offers a PDF online that lists what parts of the Java programming language is tested and what parts, although not tested, may be useful to know. Use the link below.
FYI: For the 2020 AP CS A exam on May 8th, 2020, abstract classes and interfaces will not be tested. A previous blog post covered this.
